Last week the Northwest Multiple Listing Service (NWMLS) switched platforms for the entire housing database used by NWMLS real estate agents. The new platform name: Matrix.  And it has not gone well. Information has been slow (if at all) to get out to the data feeds that generate the many company websites where Buyers can search for homes.  Agents have been hesitant to input new listings because of the poor feed reliability and glitches in posting new property photos. And quite frankly, without a whole lot of training, the learning curve of the new system is proving a bit steeper than everyone had hoped.

Hopefully things will get back to normal soon.
